This seminar centres especially on a practical application of theoretical knowledge that has been developed in the Introduction course (Autumn 2021), respectively promotion, architecture, evaluation and property management. Each stage will be looked into details through the realization of several projects.

Information related to the course format (online, in-class, ...) will be available on the course moodle page. It is important to regularly check the information as they may evolve due to the current pandemic situation.

Entry formalities:

Course is orientated first of all on practice, the number of participants is limited to 50 people. The inscription to the seminar will require a motivation letter (maximum ½ page, 300 words, explain why you want to attend this course) to be sent at following address at the latest on the 01.02.2022 at 23h59:


Summary of seminar:

Stage 1: project development and investors research (Promotion)

Feasibility analysis (technical and financial aspects of a project) with several notions introduced such as type of accomodation, accomodation sales price, financial plan, commercial strategy, ...

Stage 2: constitution of SCPC (Placements)

Analysis of the method of financing via capital markets, structuring of property plan according to collective objectives, definition of the vehicle of investment - legal model, the role of FINMA, project: structuring in form of SCPC.

Stage 3: realization (Architecture)

Explore different aspects of architecture: history, modern architecture of the 20th century in particular / constraints / typologies / urbanism ...

Stage 4: evaluation

Evaluation of an individual villa

Stage 5: property management

Market analysis, elaboration of a complete rental status, elaboration of sales price grid, commercialisation.

Classes are held on Tuesdays from 12:30 to 14:00 and Thursdays from 14:15 to 16:00 starting on 21.02.2022.

Main points of course:

- Practice case of application

- Implements broad knowledge in property domain, but also on the whole of domains approached in the course of introduction to the property management (autumn semester 2021).

- Encourage teamwork, writing of reports under temporal pressure, the speech in group and the presentation of results.


References will be announced during course.


Successful completion of the course of introduction to the property management is mandatory to participate in the course.


First attempt

Without exam (cf. terms)  

100 % final notes: Group project at the end of each of 5 modules.

Assessments are made in the form of presentations, either in class or on Zoom depending on the health situation, with a written report.

The retake exam will take the form of an individual complement to the projects. The modalities will be defined by the teachers according to the weaknesses of the projects submitted during the semester. It is the responsibility of the student to contact the teachings assistants by email before the end of the registration period for the retake session to determine the details of the individual supplement. The deadline to which this complement must be submitted to the teaching assistants will be communicated when the student will contact the assistants.
