Objectives

  • Learn how to use and design tools such as the Business Model Canvas, the Value Proposition Canvas and the Team Alignment Map
  • Understand the mechanics of business models
  • Design business models that are environmentally and socially sustainable
  • Learn to use a strategic approach in design
  • Distinguish imagination from creativity in design
  • Learn to work with imaginaries
  • Tackle problems in a creative and imaginatory manner

Contents

  • Presentation of the tools for collective design of business models and their implementation
  • Mechanisms and interdependencies between the different dimensions of business models
  • Design theory for visual inquiry tools
  • Outs and abouts of socially and environmentally sound business models
  • Introduction to strategic thinking in collaborative design
  • Paradigm change of the promotional discourses in design thinking
  • Creative visualization of cinema and animation studios
  • Questioning the role of the innovator in the digital society in the anthropocene era
