ObjectivesThe subject of the seminar is Digital Innovation and aims students working in groups to face with real problems proposed by Swiss companies. The objective of this course is to enable students to develop transversal skills allowing them to identify and address the challenges faced by organizations as part of their digital transition. To do this, students will be confronted with new and concrete issues, sometimes unexplored, submitted by leading organizations in their field. As a team, they will have to propose and evaluate innovative solutions to these concrete challenges. More specifically, at the end of this course, students will be able to:
This course is based on group work and a strong partnership with professionals and members of the Digital Cycle (https://www.digitalcircle.ch/digital-circle/).
ContentsThe course takes place in 4 main parts: Part 1: Transmission of knowledge and skills. 3 sessions will be dedicated to the transmission of the methods and tools needed to understand the challenges and the design approach (problem solving methods, design thinking tools, collaborative work tools ...). The various challenges will be briefly presented and the groups will be created for the challenge week. Part 2: A full week (the week of November 7th) will be entirely dedicated to:
