Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur have been shortlisted for the Strategy “Distinguished Achievement Award” from Thinkers50. Every two years, Thinkers50 produces the world’s most prestigious ranking of management thinkers. And eight thinkers are honored with Distinguished Achievement Awards.
Alex Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur are the authors of Business Model Generation (Wiley, 2010), which has sold more than one million copies in 40 languages. They invented the “Business Model Canvas” used by companies worldwide. The original book has been followed by Business Model You (Wiley, 2012) and Value Proposition Design (Wiley, 2015). In November 2015, they had been ranked #15 in the Thinkers50 ranking and received the “Strategy Award”.
