Grand Master Class at Seoul

a keynote for MICimpact (web) at M square, for (more than 200) entrepreneurs, consultants, students and BMGEN fans. Fantastic evening with Mike Han (the founder of MICimpact) and his team Mi Young Hong, Alex, Soowan, John (the translator) and many others.

Mike and his team decided to organise this Grand Master Class 5 days before my visit in Seoul, and ’ more than 200 persons showed up, full of fans and enthusiasts of BMGEN. The talk presented the Business Model Canvas. Business model innovation has been illustrated with examples. Design thinking attitude was also be emphasized for exploring and prototyping business models. Finally, the synergy between the business model canvas, lean startup and customer development will has been briefly emphasised for testing business models.

The article presents the lecture. In addition to a short presentation of the BMGEN canvas and the Nespresso case study by the participants, the talk also proposed a couple of suggestions for entrepreneurs: using design thinking techniques, as architects, for prototyping theirs business models and testing their business models “out of the building”.
