The talk is structured according the 5 following issues: (1) three metaphors (athlete, artist & craftsman) for researcher in IS, (2) ideology and illusion when evaluating research in the IS community, (3) the review perspective and best practices, (4) the standards, suggestions and major skills for writing’ a good paper, and (5) a final suggestion to be rigorous, creative and relevant.
